Terms & Conditions 2017

PAYMENT:

Full payment is required prior to any design work/proofs commencing. Payments are non-refundable. This applies to all types of design services being provided. After the creative brief is agreed we will begin design concepts.

ALTERATIONS:

The customer agrees that changes required over and above the estimated work or required to be carried out after acceptance of the draft design will be liable to a separate charge based on an hourly rate. Logo designs are subject to a limit of 3 amends to initial proofs, any further re-design or amendments requested are chargeable to the client.

CANCELLATION:

In the event of cancellation you will be invoiced for the cost of the design work carried out.

COPYRIGHT & TRADEMARKS:

By supplying text, images, photographs, stock images and other data to cfcreativedesigns for inclusion in design work, the client declares that it holds the appropriate copyright and/or trademark permissions. The ownership of such materials will remain with the client, or rightful copyright or trademark owner. The client does not hold cfcreativedesigns responsible for any legal issues that may arise from copyright infringement or unlawful use of materials, and will release from any legal issues whatsoever for this project.

Copyright is retained by cfcreativedesigns on all design work including words, pictures, ideas, visuals and illustrations. Unauthorised use of work may result in further legal action for breach of copyright.The client agrees not to use or disclose original ideas that have been presented and/or submitted by cfcreativedesigns prior to legal purchase of the final design. cfcreativedesigns retains the right to use the completed project/designs for marketing materials and in our portfolio.

PROOFING:

Whilst we endeavour to provide a thorough, error-free service, it is the sole responsibility of the client to check all content of said proof – including spelling, grammar, punctuation and use of images – unless otherwise stipulated by cfcreativedesigns. Once a design is passed to a client it is the clients responsibility to check all final artwork. cfcreativedesigns will not be held responsible in anyway (financially or otherwise) for any errors in final printed or published design work after your proof has been approved.

PRIVACY POLICY:

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

IMAGE QUALITY:

cfcreativedesigns will inform the client if images supplied are – in their professional opinion – not of suitable quality for print. However, if the client once apprised of this chooses to retain use of the image in question, cfcreativedesigns will not be held responsible for quality of reproduction. We are able to purchase stock images at additional cost.
